Silly Putty - Original May 2011

Isaiah 5 years, Amalia 3 years

Jarah 2 years
Some excitable young children ready to make 'something'. A quick and easy science experiment. Only a little bit messy.
You need Cornflour, cup, stirring stick (I used a pop stick), water and some enthusiastic kids.

Place cornflour in cup, add a little bit of water at a time.

Stir.

The amazing thing about this stuff is that its behaviour is unpredicatable. Somewhat like that of young children, young teens, teens and adults perhaps? Just saying...

Anyway... It is really sloppy like pancake mix but you can stretch it out, and let it drip, roll it into a ball and when you pull it apart it snaps. How is that for strange behaviour?

The children loved it and I didn't mind it either.

We will definitely be doing this one again.

Interestingly enough I use cornflour for nappy rash and it works a treat. Cheapest most effective nappy 'cream' ever. Just sprinkle on like talc powder.
