Children love to look inside things and discover new areas. It's a natural curiosity. This activity allows them to do just that. All you need are a few household items. 

Possum loves it! 

Begin with a clean 3L milk bottle. Carefully remove the spout and check for any sharp edges. 

Create a hole in the side of the bottle, again checking for sharp bits, and begin collecting your items from around the house. Consider using items that vary in size. Here I have even included an item that takes a bit of effort to insert or remove from the bottle.

Possum did well to remove all the pieces and even return some through the hole. This activity provided lots of great entertainment for her. 

Great distraction for those babies that struggle to do tummy time.
