Offering Independence

A part of our families ritual of getting ready for bed includes putting a nappy on the 3yr old. He's not keen to night train and I'm not keen on washing bed sheets and blankets daily.

I had been contemplating getting pull-ups but at a per unit cost of $1ea it would bump our grocery shop up.

On checking out other brands I found a cheaper pack at 64?cents per unit. So I gave it a shot.

Thinking if all else fails I can go back to our normal routine and it's just a few bucks extra spent.

We've been using these things for near two weeks now and I can tell you they've been a bountiful of blessing to our family, offering a new and different form of independence to our 3 year old.

I now say 'get your pajamas on' and he can run off alone and get it done, coming back with a special satisfied grin across his face.

For me, one of life's pleasures is to offer something new to my children that they find delightful and that helps settle our home environment just that little bit more.
