Special lil moments

Tonight was shopping night. I usually do groceries with my sis-in-law Vicki. Only. But have just decided that taking just ONE child at a time is good one-on-one plus the learning opportunity of using money & prices.

My lil miss jabber-jaws is happy to come along and so we've trekked into target country a few times together. She likes clothes & shopping. The genes obviously come through her fathers side ;)

Being autumn and heading into summer means the girls dresses are out *yay* which means stock up time.

Last week I was so blessed and fortunate to discover clearance on many dresses that were not on clearance the week prior.

$3-$10 dresses! Wooh! I got lots in differing sizes.

Through the week I thought "should have grabbed those other $3 dresses for next winter!" Imagine my surprise tonight to discover there was still some plus more! So I bought them all ;)
Only because I know that they'll all get used. I'm not into buying things that won't get used.

Checking out the boys section I found some suitable items for my boys too. Bonus.

After groceries miss shopper and I took our store bought chocolate milkshakes to the ocean front to enjoy each others company.

She seems to really thrive on those moments. I was even told she's blessed to have me as a mum *love*.

When I finished my drink she says dont go yet i havnt finished. As I was looking at her she tells me to look at the ocean. Just look at the ocean she repeats with a grin.

I needed to blow my nose so grabbed a take away napkin out of the glove box (all unused take away napkins are put directly into the glove box for future use) to blow my nose. She grabs one out and wipes choc milk off her pretty lil face.

She's grinning from ear to ear ;)

Alright now lets go she says. So off we go.

Conversation doesn't run very deep at the moment, but the time is precious, and her quirkiness always leaves me with a funny story to tell.
