So I do my online research to see what's available at what prices and make my pick..
One day I wake up and think "I might go buy a fridge today" you know.. As you do..
So I load up the car and off we go to Retravision (limited options city folk, limited options)..
We walk in with a line up, instructions not to touch and to go find the fridge. All the workers are standing around.. Errr.. Working ;) watching as we file past..
Clearly my hands are full and no one even comments!! But I do like how they don't muck around with me! Clearly I'm not there for fun & games.. I want to get in and out before trouble hits!!
I don't see what I'm looking for but I do see an oversized fridge/freezer which would suit better (but cost more)..
When I do see what I'm looking for its tiny! Or at least it looks so tiny to me and our needs.. Or future needs..
Our current fridge is small and we are a family of 7..
So I choose the biggest fridge I can.. Hope it's big enough!!
We are in Retravision.. Where they have a multitude of televisions on display.. We don't have television so it's somewhat novelty really.. Sometimes the shows available to watch are so filthy I need to direct my children's eyes to the one screen with coloured fish swimming around and make out its really exciting rather than naked people dancing? Strutting their bodies? Watching porn!!
This time the news is on and an old man is talking, with no sound. I am relieved that appropriate shows are on this time. I look down on the ground where I have 3 kids lying on the floor 'watching tv'.. So not appropriate for shopping right?!! But I let it go.. They are quiet, they are not touching, they are not bored, they are not pestering me while I put through my purchase :D that's a win/win..
So today our new fridge arrives.. And I have the joys of cleaning up the old fridge.. And stocking our new fridge :D
