A friend shared this with me years ago. I don't recall the exact recipe but you get the idea.
500g shell or macaroni pasta uncooked
2 cups cheese grated
2-3 cups milk
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup butter or oil
Oil/butter crockpot. Put raw pasta in. Sprinkle flour evenly over top, add cheese, pour milk over evenly. Stir til mixed well.
Put on low for 1 - 1 1/2 hrs.
The recipe is really forgiving. Add veges, puréed cauliflower if you want to hide veges, onion, more cheese, tomato... What ever you fancy!!
I put on around 11am ready for lunch at 12. It's delicious :)
