Today we went to two churches and a park. In short.
Hubby declares he has no clothes to wear to church so I state wear none. He said he packed what he had and wore his jeans for two days and can't wear them again. He was right about that. They have been walked through mud. He sussed something out in the end but I wonder why he doesn't plan these things in advance.
The children have had lots of late nights and a huge change in routine. They are not used to being quiet and having to stay that way. It is making the 'camping' side of things really annoying for me. Especially considering they are needing a massive bout of obedience training. They are usually 'ok' obedience wise but this trip is sure defining something different.
After our meals in the kitchen we clean everything up, get dressed for church and get in the car. It's a 40 minute drive. We arrive half an hour early so stop at a shopping centre then grab a maccas coffee which then made us late.
It was really cool to see fellow country friends who've moved to the city. They gave us a welcome gift pack. The children ate the lollies.
During chatting a lady introduced herself as Tara. As I looked at her and she talked about random things I came out and asked if she went to ecu. She said yes bachelor of science in youth work. I asked if that was 2002 but meant to say 2003. She said yes. I told her I remembered her arguing with our ideology teacher. Isn't it funny how things pan out like that?
Afterwards we went to a park in wanneroo. It was really cool!! The kids played from around 1:30-4.
Then we dropped into a shopping centre, went into big w and bought a few items of clothing including some $3 shirts for the boys!!! How cheap is that!!! And a pair of shoes for $3 for Jarah. So good!
We had another few turns on some escalators. Up then down. Even took the trolley with Avigail and jarah up and down one. I think jarah appreciated the ride without having to touch the thing. Michael didn't seem either happy, interested or amused by such childish entertainment but I appreciate that he sacrificed himself to participate in the experience.
After this we drove another 15 minutes to another church. That was good too.
The children enjoy going to church, even though they wriggle and squirm through the process.
We had pizza for dinner. A novel experience for these country folk ;)
Personally I've received a fair bit of revelations and messages today. I've written most down in my book.
Anyhow we've just got the kids to bed for the night and are gearing up for sleep ourselves at 9:30.
Love and blessings xxx
