He said No

A few children and I are about to head down town to complete a half-week grocery shop.

I am leaving the 2yr old and 3yr old at home. Both will be in bed.

I ask to leave my baby home. She is 3 months old, completely dependent upon my body to feed her and she only likes being held in the night time. She's been fussing and crying.

Hubby says no.

...

Below is a picture. A picture taken right now. Of my husband.

He has read a book to the 2yr old and 3yr old. He discovered one stinks. He is kneeling like that so he can change the dirty nappy. And he's put two kids to bed.

He wears a fluro post-it note placed by 5yr old proudly. He isn't phased by the activity surrounding him. Constant movement within close proximity hovering about his works.

...

When we return home he will bring in the groceries, kiss my forehead and tell me I did well. I may forget something he specifically asked for, I'll say sorry and he'll be ok with that, but he might ask me to go back to the shop for it, he might not.

I appreciate it, more than my words care to express.

My hubby, changed a dirty nappy...
