Having DH away from home for 24hours a day is much different. Especially with no lunch breaks together.
We are managing well, we always do Praise The Lord!
But the most different, unusual, not-quite-right factor of his new exciting job is... That we had never been, and never seen, and never visited.
DH used to be 5minute drive from us and easy to contact when needed at any time of the day. Great information when you are pregnant and near due ;)
So now we've had no access, limited phone/SMS contact, and no lunch breaks.
Today, DH suggests we take a visit to his workplace and show us around.
It was so glorious! We met with some bosses, played with the dogs and drove around the farm. We saw animals, plants, fences, sheds and machinery as DH gave us a running dialogue of paddocks he had seeded and the ruins of over-flooding from the rains we have been receiving.
I must confess, I am a bit jealous he gets to spend so much of his time in such Glory, such Beauty, such Divine surrounds all day every day. Though I've always been a seeker of adventure ;)
For today, I am thankful that DH thought to take us out and show us around, and I am grateful he has this opportunity for this season in our lives.
Whilst I would LOVE to show you photos the truth is I have been trying to be more ACTIVE in the moments and havnt been taking any pictures to share, preferring to leave phones at home or elsewhere.
BUT: here's one hubby took the other day and sent to me xx
